My arrangements of some beautiful pop tunes: mellow and romantic, relaxing and smooth.
So, how do you go about finding your one true love? The music on this CD represents this quest, from "Where Is The Love?" to "I Can't Make You Love Me." Accordingly, there tends to be an element of angst in this music, a searching tension that is palpable in the sound. Recorded in the summer of 2000 in the state-of-the-art recording facility at Citrus College in Azuza, CA, the project features some arrangement ideas that were new to me at the time.
For example, on "Tears In Heaven" there is some very lovely accompanying section work that feature the harmonica (
Paul Michael Meredith) and the cello (
Marston Smith).

The answer to the question about finding your "one true love" of course is that it's more important to be the right person than to find the right person, because the relationships we have in our lives are a reflection of the relationship that we have with ourselves. When we have healthy love and respect and acceptance of ourselves we have a much greater potential for creating healthy love and respect in our love life.
If you haven't found your one true love - don't give up! If you have, express your love daily!
Enjoy!
